For Bruce Beveridge, Titanic - The
Ship Magnificent is the culmination of a lifelong interest in ships and maritime history.
What started in the early 1990s as a personal research project ultimately led to Bruces being
recognized within the Titanic community as one of the worlds foremost visual and
technical historians of Olympic and Titanic. He has been consulted by such firms as
The Danbury Mint, Minicraft Models and the auction firm of Henry Aldridge and Son. He has been
interviewed and quoted on Titanic-related matters by the U.S. and British press, and has
appeared on the U.K.s Sky 1 television in a Titanic Conspiracy
documentary. Bruce has traveled to Southampton as well as places local to his home state to present
talks on Titanic. Bruces achievements include a wide variety of subject matter, but
he is most well know for his publicly released works such as his co-authorship of Olympic and
Titanic- The Truth Behind the Conspiracy with Steve Hall of Australia and his consultation
back in the 1990s on the Titanic CAD Plans created by Robert Hahn of Germany. Bruce is also
well known for his highly sought-after General Arrangement plans of Titanic that were
originally drawn for, and subsequently used by, dive teams

dive teams investigating the interior of
the wreck.rA detailed plan of this type had never been done before, with researchers
having to make do with plans of Olympic that differed in many interior details, and
missing a great deal of information in the crew and machinery spaces. Bruce is a founding trustee of the Titanic Research and Modeling
Association as well as an honorary lifetime member of the British Titanic Society - a recognition
accorded to only two other individuals, Robert Hahn and Titanic survivor Elizabeth
Milvina Dean. He has also held membership in the Irish Titanic Historical Society,
Titanic International and the U.S.-based Titanic Historical Society. He has written articles for
these organizations on numerous occasions, specializing in technical matters relating to Titanic
and her sisters.
Bruce also offers his research and investigative expertise for hire on
matters not related to the famous White Star Line sisters. He has been contracted to do private
historical research and create booklets and other writings for businesses and pioneer
establishments in local communities in the Chicago metropolitan area. He is currently the
historical archivist for his local library in Summit Argo, Illinois, and works extensively with
other local historical societies in assisting them with their endeavors. Bruce lives in the Chicago area and is a former police sergeant and
investigator. He currently works in private investigation while providing security services for
high-risk clients. With the release of Titanic - the Ship Magnificent, Bruce has
stated that he will take a break from rivet counting and center his attentions on
local history, his family and his four young children.
